NUTRITION & INGREDIENTS
NUTRITION & INGREDIENTS
Ingredients: De-alcoholised wine (grapes, concentrated grape juice, preservative: E242, sulphur dioxide), carbon dioxide.
Nutrition (per 100 ml): Energy 75 kJ (18 kcal), fat <0.5 g, carbohydrates 4.1 g (of which sugars 3.6 g), protein <0.5 g, salt <0.01 g
All our wines contain <0.5% alcohol. This is a deliberate choice: conventional alcohol-free wine certified 0.0% goes through a more aggressive treatment to remove the last half a percent, which often leaves the wine flat and lacking complexity. At just 0.5%, our wines contain less alcohol than a ripe banana or apple juice left open for three days. They count as alcohol-free and can safely be enjoyed by pregnant women and children.

Why choose Miris Blend?
The wine critics' favourite – read the top reviews from Ingvild Tennfjord, Aperitif and Merete Bø
Ingvild Tennfjord – Dice roll 6
"A newcomer that impresses! Generous flavours of peach and lime, with the lovely acidity I so often appreciate in a delicious white. Honestly one of the first alcohol-free wines I think works brilliantly."
Aperitif – No. 1 alcohol-free white wine
"A well-made, drier alcohol-free white"
Merete Bø – 87 pts
"Aromas of peach and apricot with hints of citrus and some floral notes. Soft and fresh, lightly crisp fruit on the palate with a light and fairly dry finish."
A blend of selected vineyards across different soils & climates, for greater complexity
Soil is to wine what spice is to food – essential for flavour.
Our vineyards in Rheinhessen and Pfalz are spread across several sub-regions, each with its own microclimate and soil.
The minerals in the soil give the grapes distinct flavours.
Temperature differences between the microclimates affect aroma and ripeness.
When grapes from the different vineyards are combined, complex wines are created.
Wines that tell a story.
Gentle de-alcoholisation (named Germany's best), preserving the volatile aromas – read about the production method
The problem with today's alcohol-free wine market is its focus on volume & profit: behind closed doors, wines are heated far too hot, so the volatile aromas disappear along with the alcohol.
Miris Blend has chosen a different path. There is more than enough cheap alcohol-free wine – but very little that puts quality first and works with family producers who love what they do.
My producers pick their grapes from the same vineyards they use for their traditional wines.
They experiment with different maceration times and grape combinations to find something unique they would want to drink themselves.
They vacuum-distil the wines slowly under low pressure, so the temperature never needs to rise as high, and the volatile aromas survive the process.
The icing on the cake? They use patented aroma-recovery technology, named Germany's best. In other words, after distillation the carefully captured aromas are returned to the wine, ensuring a full and authentic aromatic spectrum.
My producers have their hearts in the right place, and it shows in the wines.
79% fewer calories than traditional wine (28 calories per glass)
It is no secret that alcohol can be harmful. High calorie content, strain on the liver, a weakened immune system, poor sleep and increased risk of disease are just some of the reasons to reflect on how much we drink.
Miris Blend is not here to judge or to replace alcohol entirely, but to make it easier and more tempting to choose alcohol-free a little more often.
While a glass of traditional wine contains around 130 empty calories from alcohol, a glass of Miris Blend has just 28 – from natural carbohydrates.
So we want you to enjoy the same elegance and flavour, with fewer worries, when you choose Miris Blend.
Less sugar, more flavour – compared with traditional alcohol-free wine
The sugar in alcohol-free wine comes from concentrated grape juice and serves an important purpose: it gives the wine body and fullness, much as alcohol does in traditional wine.
Most of us appreciate an alcohol-free wine with a touch of sweetness – believe me, I have blind-tasted the whole of Europe's selection with 15 wine experts.
Unfortunately, many producers use sugar to hide missing aromas and a weak concentration of other flavours. That is why so many alcohol-free wines taste like grape juice.
At Miris Blend, we have instead focused on preserving the natural aromas and flavours through our de-alcoholisation process. The sweetness level in each wine has been carefully chosen by experienced winemakers to complement the aromas without overwhelming the palate.
Award-winning family producers – read about the 160+ awards they have won.
I have always had a soft spot for the producers who put blood, sweat and tears into making quality wine rather than spending their energy on marketing. Ever since I started in the wine industry, I knew I would eventually find a way to represent these unique people. When they are not on Instagram themselves, it is my pleasure to share some of the impressive awards they have received, year after year:
DLG Prize for Long-Term Product Quality: Awarded to products that have achieved consistently high quality over time – a recognition from the German Agricultural Society (DLG).
AWC Vienna tasted & awarded: AWC Vienna is an international wine competition where products are assessed and awarded by experts from around the world on taste and quality.
Selection prämierter Betrieb: A recognition for producers who have shown exceptional quality and been distinguished across a range of awards.
EHRENPREIS DES Bundesministeriums für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft: This honorary prize is awarded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture for outstanding work in agriculture.
MUNDUS VINI NON Alcoholic: Mundus Vini is a prestigious international wine competition, and this award is given to alcohol-free wines that excel in quality and taste.
Excellent alternative
